The casting call for Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel was held last week in Naperville, Plano and Chicago, Illinois.
One super fan, with a thinking cap on, decided after submitting his application and photo for the Chicago casting call to take a drive to Plano, where the “Smallville” scenes were being filmed, and check things out.
He drove there and asked a local police officer about the movie being filmed. The officer offered up that some structures were being built, and that while the site for the Kent Farm had not been revealed, it would be close to town. The officer also stated the town would only be featured about fifteen minutes in the movie. Reportedly, the person asked a Plano Resident about the details who seemed to confirm what the officer had said.
