Superman & Lois Final Season Shows Off Daily Planet With Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch

We get some more behind-the-scenes set pics from the final season of Superman & Lois featuring Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch at the Daily Planet.

The pair are featured in images as part of a flashback scene.

It’s thought the final season will see the Kent Family move from Smallville to Metropolis which explains why the Smallville cast will only be appearing in guest starring roles throughout the episodes.

“Back to work at the Daily Planet”

Tyler Hoechlin posted a pic of himself as Clark Kent at the Daily Planet with Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois.

“Back to work at the Daily Planet with @bitsietulloch. Hard to believe we only have five weeks left,” he said on Instagram.

Play ball!

Elizabeth Tullock also posted a series of pics with Hoechlin with what looks to be a flashback scene, possibly involving a baseball game with the staff of the Daily Planet, in addition to pics at the newspaper.

“We know you all love the episodes with flashbacks so our writers delivered. #DailyPlanet #SupermanAndLois #flashback #throwback,” she posted on Instagram.

Fun fact: Tyler Hoechlin was aiming for a career in baseball before becoming an actor. While in college he injured his hamstring so went the acting route.

The background of one of the images also features a nod to the DC Comics character, Franklin Berkowitz, who is the Mayor of Metropolis in the comics and who was killed by a sniper on the orders of Lex Luthor.  Berkowitz was succeeded by Buck Sackett, who was in Lex’s pocket.

Michael Cudlitz is playing Lex Luthor, returning from Season 3, and Yvonne Chapman is playing Lex’s #2, Amanda McCoy, the acting leader of LuthorCorp in Lex’s absence, so it’s guessed Lex also returns to Metropolis with the Kents. Douglas Smith is also playing Jimmy Olsen.

Superman & Lois Season premieres in the fall with ten episodes.
