It seems while Henry Cavill is waiting for production to begin for Batman Vs. Superman, the actor stopped by a local bar in Detroit to have a few pops which almost led to an altercation with the locals.

Apparently, a patron of the Imperial Bar in Ferndale asked Henry Cavill for a napkin, but as the man was deaf, the man didn’t speak the words clearly enough. Cavill is said to have gotten annoyed as the actor didn’t realize the man was deaf and assumed the man had food in his mouth.

Well, regardless if you are a super man or not, one thing you don’t do is mess with the local bar scene.

CelebBuzz reports that the intoxicated locals in the bar started to get irritated with Henry Cavill after hearing how Superman acted toward their deaf friend.

“He was minding his business with his trainer,” Adrean Mangiardi relayed the story. “My friend asked for a napkin near Henry, that’s what caused a whole misunderstanding. And he got the napkin for my friend and said something, but he’s deaf so he got upset. Henry was saying ‘say your words’ to my deaf friend, but he never heard it so that made Henry upset. Henry thought he had a mouth full of food.”

The story continues that the locals in the bar –  the “Deaf Wolfpack” – started to create a ruckus; however, cooler heads prevailed.

“At the end of the night while the bar was closing, Henry came up to us, the Deaf Wolfpack, and shook hands with us, including the one who asked for napkin,” Mangiardi said. “He apologized and made some basic gestures. I’m sure he learned his lesson by jumping [to] his conclusion with us. I hope the next time he bumped into us, he will respect the deaf culture and appreciate us. It was all good. It was a simple misunderstanding and [we] cleared the air. I’m glad Henry righted his wrong. People make mistakes and learn from it.”

“Batman Vs Superman” has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
