The final trailer for Superman has been released, and tickets are officially on sale. James Gunn’s reboot hits theaters July 11, with early international showings starting July 9. The film marks the first full-length feature under the new DC Studios banner.
DC has also announced a Superman Father’s Day Hero Gift set which includes tickets and more, and The Collector’s Bundle is also available.

James Gunn’s Vision for Superman
Written and directed by James Gunn, Superman kicks off DC Studios’ reimagined cinematic universe. Gunn presents a new take on the iconic hero, still rooted in compassion and truth, but updated with his usual mix of action, humor, and character focus.
Peter Safran and Gunn produce the film, which is based on DC characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
Cast and Characters
David Corenswet stars as Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The cast also includes Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, Nathan Fillion, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, María Gabriela de Faría, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince and Neva Howell.
Crew and Production
Behind the scenes, Gunn works with director of photography Henry Braham, production designer Beth Mickle, costume designer Judianna Makovsky, composers John Murphy and David Fleming, and editors William Hoy and Craig Alpert. Superman will be released in the U.S. on July 11, with international screenings starting July 9. It will be available in standard theaters and IMAX.
