Superman: David Corenswet Saves The Day In New Official Image

Warner Bros. has released a new official image of David Corenswet from James Gunn’s Superman featuring the actor saving the day as the new Man of Steel.

The image is from the new trailer where Superman saves the girl when the giant kaiju steps its foot down and sends oxygen tanks flying.

Kaiju attacking Metropolis

The trailer reveals the Kaiju attacking Metropolis, whose origins are unknown, where Superman can be seen confronting the beast. The best breathes fire and targets Superman.

Possibly related to the scene is footage of buildings falling down. The trailer also starts with Superman landing near the Fortress of Solitude all battered and bloody. Perhaps that is a result of battling the Kaiju. Who else could do that to Superman? Krypto a makes a save of his own.

What is Superman about?

Superman gets released on July 11, 2025.
