James Gunn has officially released the first teaser for the Supergirl, confirming that the full teaser will arrive later this week.
The preview gives fans their first moving footage of Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El, marking the next step in the film’s marketing push following the CCXP costume reveal and booth display.

First Look at Milly Alcock
The brief footage shows Alcock as Kara, giving fans a clearer idea of her on-screen presence beyond the still images revealed at CCXP25.
This marks the first time Warner Bros. has shown her in motion for the role following Superman, and the teaser immediately began circulating across social platforms after Gunn posted it.

Follows CCXP’s Supergirl Showcase
The teaser arrives just days after WB’s large Supergirl activation at CCXP, which included:
- The official Supergirl costume on display
- A full themed booth featuring elements from the movie
- Krypto, alien creatures, and world-building props
With that reveal setting the stage, the teaser now kicks off the actual promotional rollout for the film.

Gunn captioned the post with a simple confirmation: “Teaser trailer this week.”
Warner Bros. has not announced an exact date, but industry watchers expect the full teaser to drop Thursday.
