Will The CW shows Supergirl and Riverdale have a crossover?
Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa took to Twitter to offer the possibility as season 2 is filming on Riverdale, with Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa tweeting out an image featuring Melissa Benoist visiting the set of Riverdale as Supergirl.
“Look who dropped in to #Riverdale for a visit! Worlds colliding!! Can a crossover be far behind??” the tweet says.

While a Supergirl and Riverdale crossover could happen, more than likely it’s just a simple set visit by Melissa Benoist as both Supergirl and Riverdale film in Vancouver.
But you never know what might happen as various superheroes and comic book characters have crossed over with the Archie comics.
New seasons of Supergirl and Riverdale premiere this October on The CW.
