Nintendo and Illumination have released the Super Mario Bros. Movie poster ahead of the first trailer that will be released on Thursday.
The poster looks to feature the animation that will be featured in the film, but worth a mention is that the poster doesn’t show the face of Mario.
Mario is being voiced by Chris Pratt which has seen some controversy, so it will be interesting to see if Mario looks like the actor (doubt it).
“This one is VERY special. Cannot wait!!! Get ready to be blown away” said Pratt.
“Watch this Nintendo Direct: The Super Mario Bros. Movie presentation introducing the world premiere trailer for the upcoming film (no game information will be featured),” states the YouTube description.
The special presentation will take place on YouTube starting at 4:05pm EST on Thursday, Oct. 6.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie gets released on April 7, 2023, directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and also stars Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Browser,
Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
Tune in at 1:05 p.m. PT on 10/6 for a #NintendoDirect: The Super Mario Bros. Movie presentation introducing the world premiere trailer for the upcoming film (no game information will be featured).
