Warner Bros. Japan unleashes the trailer for the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime.
“Isekai” is a Japanese term used in anime and manga that refers to a subgenre where a protagonist is transported, reborn, or trapped in a parallel universe, often a fantasy world. The protagonist usually starts their adventure in this new world, facing challenges and adventures different from their original one.
In Suicide Squad ISEKAI, the Suicide Squad is sent to another realm which is based in fantasy: “Task Force X is too dangerous for this world…so Waller’s sending them to another in Suicide Squad ISEKAI,” teases DC.
