Stephen Amell Confirms Deathstroke For Arrow Season 5

Deathstroke will be returning for Arrow Season 5.

Stephen Amell took to Facebook to offer an image of himself alongside Deathstroke. Update: It’s for filming of Arrow‘s 100th episode, so it’s a good bet that Deathstroke will be featured.

When questioned in the comments that since Deadstroke will be in the Ben Affleck Batman movie, doesn’t that mean Deathstroke can’t be on Arrow, with: “This photo is from today.”

Manu Bennett played the Deathstroke on Arrow, while Joe Manganiello has been cast as the Deathstroke for the DCEU movies.

Stephen Amell did recently state that he thought Deathstroke could be on both TV and in the movies. In addition, it recently became known that the Ben Affleck Batman movie is at least a year and a half away, so that leaves room for Deathstroke to appear on Arrow at least without any conflicts for the time being.

Fans have been wanting Deathstroke to come back to Arrow for quite a while as many viewed Season 2 as the best of the series.

Arrow Season 5 premieres Wednesday, October 5th at 9pm ET on The CW.
