Star Wars Leak Offers ‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Epic Scene

A Star Wars leak from The Book of Boba Fett offers an epic scene that happens to be a throwback to none other than Return of the Jedi.

According to the information, a scene in the series will feature Boba Fett apparently battling it out with a Rancor, the same type of monster that Luke Skywalker battled in the pit of Jabba’s palace.

The Star Wars fans site, SWNN, says that a reliable source has filled them in that Boba Fett will encounter a Rancor, most likely while on Tatooine, where the footage shows Boba Fett on top of the Rancor possibly either taming or attempting to control the beast as it tears through the streets of the city.

The site also adds that a second source confirms the Rancor scene does take place in the series, and the site also provided a mock-up of what the footage might look like. See below.

The use of the Rancor is another cool nod for long-time fans of the franchise, which is thanks again to Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni who created the Boba Fett series as a spinoff from The Mandalorian

Disney recently announced that The Book Of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney Plus on Wednesday, December 29. The thrilling Star Wars adventure finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate. The series stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen; Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson are the executive producers; Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
