Original article:
Fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of a new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer, and the good news is you won’t have to wait that much longer.
A couple of days ago saw Mark Hamill tease the release of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer on Twitter, which was just a joke, but Mark Hamill quickly calmed down the rabid Star Wars fans by following that up with a new tweet telling them to watch Monday Night football on October 9th.
I have to say, I wouldn’t actually mind if Disney doesn’t show another Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer and keeps a lot of the footage hidden. I was happy with what Marvel Studios and James Gunn did with Guardians of the Galaxy 2 by only releasing footage from the first 15 minutes or so, which doesn’t spoil anything. I hope they do that with Star Wars: The Last Jedi as well.
As a lot of us cover the news as it comes out like a hawk, and I’ve found when I go to the theaters, some movies are rather underwhelming due to all the footage released in spots, trailers and previews.
I don’t mind all the promo images released, but at times there is too much footage released.
I should also add that WB not revealing anything about Ares for Wonder Woman was really cool.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi has a December 15, 2017 release directed by Rian Johnson starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, the late Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Daisy Ridley as Rey, John Boyega as Finn, Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata, Oscar Isaac as Poe Dameron, Domhnall Gleeson as Hux, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma, Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, with Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran as Rose.
