Spider-Man: Homecoming 2: Matt Damon Villain?

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2: Matt Damon Villain?

Will Matt Damon be making a return to the MCU as the Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 villain?

That’s right! Matt Damon made a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok during the play scene set on Asgard as Loki.

It’s reported, however, that apparently Matt Damon turned down the offer, as he was Marvel Studios and Sony’s top choice to play the Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 villain.

It’s further said that the sequel may be setting up the Sinister Six for the third movie, so it’s possible Matt Damon could have played Doc Ock, Mysterio, Kraven The Hunter or even possibly Green Goblin, Sandman or Electro.

Now it could still be possible that Matt Damon might sign on as initial reports also stated Michael Keaton passed on Vulture in the first movie.

What do you think about Matt Damon as the Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 villain? Who would be a could fit? Doc Ock? Mysterio?

Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 has a July 5, 2019 release directed by Jon Watts starring Tom Holland. Look for Holland next month in The Avengers: Infinity War.
