Spider-Man Actor Tom Holland Quits Social Media

Spider-Man actor Tom Holland returns to social media following a six-week absence only to say he’s quitting again.

The actor last posted six weeks ago on Instagram, and last tweeted on Twitter back on Feb. 20, to his combined 75 million subscribers.

On Sunday, Holland shared a video offering “hello and goodbye” and that he has been taking a “break from social media for my mental health” and that the reason he is back is to promote the stem4 charity, which is a teenage mental health charity.

“Stem4 is one of the many charities @thebrotherstrust is extremely proud to support – and I’d like to take a moment to shine a light on their fantastic work,” said Holland in the post comments. “Please take the time to watch my video, and should you feel inclined to share it with anyone who it may resonate with – it would be greatly appreciated.”

“Thanks for your love and support. I love you all and I’ll speak to you soon,” Holland said at the end of the video.

Tom Holland recently starred in Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home which has brought in close to $2 billion dollars with the extended version getting released in theaters in a couple of weeks.
