South Park is coming to Fortnite, and the chaos kicks off tomorrow, January 9.
Players will be able to suit up as Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters and cause all kinds of mayhem using themed items and locations pulled straight from the show.
The event is called South Park: Born in Chaos, and it runs until February 5.
In addition to new outfits in the Item Shop, players can unlock South Park gear for free by completing in-game quests through the Born in Chaos Pass. A new 5-player “Quints” mode is also launching with the event.

Gameplay Items: Stick of Truth, Cheesy Poofs, and Kenny’s Respawn Token
The crossover includes several wild gameplay mechanics:
- Stick of Truth (one-time-use): Let’s you control the Storm’s path
- Cheesy Poofs: Restore health, heal teammates, or damage enemies
- Kenny’s Respawn Token: Automatically reboot once after being eliminated
New POI: Cartmanland
Drop into Cartmanland, a massive new Point of Interest based on Cartman’s personal theme park. Ride attractions like:
- CHAOS BLAST
- Voyage to the Center of the Planet
- Pi Pi’s Splash Town
Free Born in Chaos Pass (No V-Bucks Needed)
The Born in Chaos Pass is free and includes 13 themed rewards. Complete South Park quests to unlock:
- Cheesy Poofs Rocketship Emote
- Terrance and Phillip Pickaxe
- Backpack of CRED Back Bling
- Imaginationland Airship Glider (final reward for finishing all quests)
To access the pass, go to the Born in Chaos tab in the Fortnite menu.
Squad Up in Quints Mode
The new Quints Playlist allows you to team up with five players instead of the usual four. Available during the Born in Chaos event, it’s part of the larger push to shake up traditional squad formats in Fortnite.
