Sounds Like No Daredevil & Defenders For Avengers: Infinity War

[page_title]

Josh Brolin previously let it be known that it’s “Thanos against everyone” when it comes to The Avengers: Infinity War movies; however, that doesn’t look to include the Marvel Netflix Defenders, which consists of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones.

Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War co-director Anthony Russo recently appeared at Comic-Con Experience in Brazil and offered “it’s complicated” when asked about Marvel Studios having a crossover with Marvel TV. Here’s the blurb (via Super Interessante):

It’s complicated. When we start to serialize the telling of stories it’s difficult. You have to have a lot of control and focus on the course of history. The films are controlled by a group led by Kevin Feige, so they function as a unit. Other products, even if they are from Marvel, are controlled by others. Then there is the possibility of a crossover, but it’s more complicated. It is a smaller scale version of the problem that exists when remembering that Fox holds the rights to some of Marvel’s most popular characters, as does Sony and others. As storytellers, we only have control over what happens in Marvel movies, but everything is possible, Spider-Man became possible!

The “complication” shouldn’t be too surprising as earlier it became known that Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige had parted ways with those who run Marvel TV, which includes Ike Perlmutter, Joe Quesada, Brian Michael Bendis and Jeph Loeb.
