Earlier today at CineEurope in Barcelona saw Warner Bros. preview their upcoming slate of movies which included an extended preview for Kong: Skull Island featuring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John C. Reilly in action.
As King Kong will be taking on Godzilla in Godzilla Vs. King Kong following Skull Island many fans have been wondering if the great ape will be big enough to take on the King of the Monsters.
It’s now learned Skull Island will feature the largest version of King Kong to date.
“This is going to be the biggest Kong there’s ever been,” boasted director Jordon Vogt-Roberts at CineEurope, reports THR. “Not 10 foot or 30 foot, but a 100-foot ape.”
Previous movies saw King Kong stand around 25 feet or so in height.
For the record, Godzilla stood around 650 feet in recent the 2014 movie.
Kong: Skull Island has a March 10,2017 release, with Godzilla Vs. King Kong released on May 29, 2020.
