Konami released a new gameplay trailer for Silent Hill f at Gamescom, giving fans a closer look at the next entry in the long-running horror franchise.

The game is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment and launches September 25, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam, Windows, and the Epic Games Store.

Gameplay and Setting

Silent Hill f is a third-person psychological horror survival game set in 1960s Japan. Players take on the role of Shimizu Hinako, whose hometown of Ebisugaoka becomes engulfed in a thick, unnatural fog. As the city transforms into a nightmare, Hinako must fight grotesque creatures, solve complex puzzles, and make choices that shape her survival.

The game’s story comes from Ryukishi07, known for his work in Japanese visual novels, with music by longtime Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka. The trailer shows a mix of exploration, combat, and unsettling imagery designed to push psychological horror to the forefront.
