Scarlett Johansson is officially a part of the new Jurassic World movie and while appearing on the Today gets a welcome message from Jeff Goldblum.
“Dr. Johansson, this is Jeff Goldblum,” Goldblum says in the video message. “Here’s what I want to say to you. This I know: Scarlett will find a way. Don’t get eaten, unless you want to. I love you.”
The phrase “Scarlett will find a way” is a reference to the first Jurassic Park movie where Goldblum’s character, Dr. Ian Malcolm, says the classic line, “Life will find a way”:
Dr. Ian Malcolm : John, the kind of control you’re attempting simply is… it’s not possible. If there is one thing the history of evolution has taught us it’s that life will not be contained. Life breaks free, it expands to new territories and crashes through barriers, painfully, maybe even dangerously, but, uh… well, there it is.
John Hammond : [sardonically] There it is.
Henry Wu : You’re implying that a group composed entirely of female animals will… breed?
Dr. Ian Malcolm : No. I’m, I’m simply saying that life, uh… finds a way.

“Script is so incredible”
Recently while confirming the new Jurassic World, Scarlett Johansson described the film as incredible.
“I’m an enormous Jurassic Park fan. It’s one of the first films I remember seeing in the theater. I remember seeing it so vividly. It was like life-changing. It was mind-blowing. I cannot express how excited I am,” she said.
“The script is so incredible,” Johansson added. “David Koepp wrote it. He returned after like 30 years to write the script. He’s so passionate about it, which is so awesome.”
She also said, “I’m such an enormous fan of the franchise and huge nerd for it. I’m just like, I can’t even, I’m pinching myself. I’ve been trying to get into this franchise in any possible way for over 10 years. I’m like, ‘I’ll die in the first five minutes! I can get eaten by whatever! I’ll do the craft service!’ I’ll do anything for it. The fact that it’s happened in this way at this time just is actually unbelievable. I can’t believe it.”
The untitled Jurassic World 4 movie is expected July 2, 2025, directed by Gareth Edwards, and also stars Mahershala Ali, Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
