A new teaser for the release of the Kong: Skull Island Blu-Ray references both Rodan and Ghidorah, two of the monsters Godzilla will be battling in the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie.
The video shows the Monarch timeline revealing that in 1991 a quarantine zone was established around a volcano, which is a reference to Rodan, an irradiated Pteranodon, who nests on volcanoes.
The video then forwards to 2016 which specifically states “Monster Zero,” the name of King Ghidorah, and also contains a footnote with “The devil has three heads.”
Godzilla: King of the Monsters has a March 22, 2019 release directed by Michael Dougherty starring Vera Farmiga, Charles Dance, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ziyi Zhang, Ken Watanabe and Millie Bobby Brown.
