Riddick Sequel, TV Series & Universe Announced

Riddick is going the route of Marvel and DC as Vin Diesel has announced a “Riddick Universe” with the sequel to the 2013 film and a new TV series.

Vin Diesel posted on Instagram that the next Riddick movie will be titled Chronicles of Riddick: Furia.

In addition, a spinoff TV series is in development titled Merc City which will follow the Merc and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick Universe.

The Riddick Universe kicked off back in 2000 with Pitch Black, followed by The Chronicles Of Riddick in 2004 and then Riddick in 2013.

Last night Our company had a party to launch Our TV division. Very exciting. MERC CITY is a show that will follow the Mercs and Bounty Hunters of the Riddick Universe. Next Month, DT begins writing the next Chapter in the Chronicles of Riddick… FURIA. #HappyFurianFriday
