Rachel Zegler should be patting herself on the back for all her dumb comments that have led to Snow White bombing so big at the box office that it might not hit $100M domestically and is looking likely to be one of the biggest bombs ever put out by Disney.
Disney certainly isn’t happy but hey, it’s on them for casting Zegler who looks nothing remotely like the original character and who shit all over the original and its near century worth of fans. Disney should have replaced Zegler a long time ago. How’d that work out?

Box office report
Fans have voted with their wallets and they’re not going to see Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot, and Snow White. Women and girls are certainly not showing up.
The film underperformed from its opening weekend and continues to do so in its third weekend at the box office, bringing in less than $6 million, which is another steep decline of over 58% from week two’s big drop of 66%.
Disney’s Snow White is currently at only $77.3M domestically. There’s doubt it will even hit $100M, which is mind-blowing to think about.
Internationally, it’s a similar story: foreign fans have no interest in Rachel Zegler, as the international box office is only at $91.3M.
Snow White‘s worldwide gross is also only at $168.6 million. This is looking worse than The Marvels ($206M worldwide).
Snow White Grosses:
- Domestic (45.8%): $77,316,291
- International (54.2%): $91,316,793
- Worldwide: $168,633,084
Weekend
- Mar 21-23: $42,206,415
- Mar 28-30: $14,331,715 -66%
- Apr 4-6: $5,940,821 -58.5%

One of Disney’s biggest bombs ever
At a reported cost of $370 million and needing around $500 million to break even (probably higher), Disney could lose up to $300M+. It has been reported that when home entertainment numbers are added that it will be “only” a loss of around $115M, but as Snow White continues to underperform at the box office week-to-week that number will only be going up.
Disney fallout
It has also been reported that following Snow White bombing so bad that Disney has canceled the live-action adaptation of Tangled.
I think Hercules is also supposed to make it to live-action, which I could also see Disney pausing on.
However, it should be said the reason Snow White failed isn’t because it’s “Snow White,” it’s because of Rachel Zegler and the fact the movie isn’t all that good. Gal Gadot, whose career has fallen off a cliff following Wonder Woman 1984, is reportedly horrendous as the Evil Queen. Director Marc Webb also shares blame, as do Disney’s bozo producers behind the film. This is what happens when agenda comes ahead of story.
