With news of the casting of X-Men’s Olivia Munn and Logan‘s Boyd Holbrook came a tidbit about the plot of the new Shane Black-directed Predator film.
The description for the Predator movie , which may have raised an eyebrow or two amongst fans but probably appealed to soccer-moms, stated: “the story plunks the alien hunter — whom audiences have seen fight in jungles, concrete jungles, frozen wastelands and alien planets — in the harsh environment of … suburbia.”
Suburbia?
The good news is that is not the case, that the above description is incorrect, as director Shane Black reached out to Collider to clear things up regarding the setting of his Predator.
While Shane Black didn’t mention specifics – as the plot of Predator is being kept under wraps – the report mentions: “Don’t expect any suburban ‘Predator lurking in rich, fancy swimming pools’ scenes.”
The new Predator has a February 9, 2018 release date.
