Good news for fans of the Power Rangers as it’s learned the film has a budget that exceeds $100 million.

According to Screen Rant, they spotted a Twitter account (tweet since deleted) that states the Power Rangers movie has a budget of just over $105 million.

While the number might not be in the scope of Avengers or Batman vs. Superman, the $105 million budget surpasses the preceding’s movie rumored number of a meager $35 million.

Power Rangers is from Saban and Lionsgate who more than likely want to start a franchise, which means if this film is a success (crossing fingers) that sequels will be on the way.

As noted, with a production budget of around $105 million, which is probably more with marketing costs factored in, the Power Rangers movie may need to make north of $200 million to break even.

The Power Rangers movie has a March 24, 2017 release starring Becky G as Trini, the Yellow Ranger; RJ Cyler as Billy, the Blue Ranger; Naomi Scott as Kimberly, the Pink Ranger; Ludi Lin as Zack, the Black Ranger; Dacre Montgomery as Jason, the Red Ranger, Elizabeth Banks stars as the villain, Rita Repulsa; Bill Hader as Alpha 5, with Bryan Cranston as Zordon.

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat.  Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.
