Lucasfilm releases a new spot for the upcoming Star Wars series, Obi-Wan Kenobi which teases the return of Darth Vader and features Rupert Friend as the Grant Inquisitor.
The footage kicks off with the iconic breathing of Darth Vader and finishes with a tease of the suit.
“This Friday, experience the two-episode premiere of Obi-Wan Kenobi, streaming only on Disney Plus,” teases the tweet as the first two episodes will be released on May 27.

Hayden Christensen told the Guardian he is excited to return and that “redemption is powerful.”
“It just seemed like a really exciting opportunity,” he said. “It was a no-brainer. In a heartbeat. When I got the call, I was instantly elated … I was just so excited to get to come back after all these years.”

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) faced his greatest defeat — the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side and became the evil Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
Also starring in the series includes Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
