Today at the NYCC, Activions released a teaser trailer for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game.
Itâs set to be released in conjunction with the new movie!
The âAmazing Spider-Man 2â swings into theaters May 2nd, 2014 directed by Marc Webb starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Felicity Jones, Colm Feore, and Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn.

Synopsis:
In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds life is busy â between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone),high schoolgraduation canât come quickly enough. Peter hasnâtforgottenabout the promise he made to Gwenâs father toprotecther by staying away â but thatâs a promise he just canât keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. Developed by Beenox, the same game studio behind 2012âs original hit The Amazing Spider-Man(TM), this all-new third-person action-adventure video game builds on the story of the previous game with an alternative take on the events of the upcoming movie, while also giving players an enhanced, free-roaming web-slinging experience through a greatly expanded New York City.

In The Amazing Spider-Man 2, players once again assume the role of the iconic Super Hero in a unique side-story inspired by the feature film but set in its own continuity. Throughout his journey, Spider-Man will encounter a number of new foes as well as some old friends, as he confronts a new threat to his beloved city. The narrative will give Peter Parker, Spider-Manâs nerdy photojournalist persona, a greater role in the spotlight, as he investigates the complicated motivations and unique personalities behind the menagerie of Marvel menaces threatening Manhattan.
As Spidey, players will be able to free-roam through a greatly-enhanced Manhattan cityscape, one set to offer livelier, more engaging opportunities with which to put his sensational skills to use. Central to the expansive depth and detail being poured into The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game is the new âHero or Menaceâ system, which incentivizes Super Hero behavior by rewarding the web-slingerâs crime-fighting efforts, and adds consequences for letting criminality fester. Spider-Manâs personal brand of web-swinging and up-close-and-personal combat will see a variety of new features as well.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game is planned to launch alongside the feature film next spring for PlayStationÂź4 and PlayStationÂź3 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, Nintendoâs Wii U(TM) system and Nintendo 3DS(TM) hand-held system, and Windows PC.
