The Nun Ad Gets Pulled From YouTube

It seems as if the upcoming The Nun movie is too scary for some YouTubers as complaints have seen the streaming service yank an ad from being shown on its site!

The six-second ad for The Nun shows a volume meter with a jump scare at the end featuring the demon Valak.

“WARNING!” a Twitter user posted. “If you see an ad on youtube with the volume sign being turned down and nothing else, ITS A JUMPSCARE for the new NUN movie coming out. i advise you look away and/or turn down the volume if you have anxiety or just straight up hate jumpscares, pls rt to save a life.”

YouTube responded that the ad violates its terms of service.

“Appreciate you bringing this to our attention! This ad violates our shocking content policy and it’s no longer running as an ad,” Google’s YouTube tweeted back.
