Nova Possible For MCU

Richard Rider Nova for the MCU?

Marvel Studios Kevin Feige says it’s possible.

At a recent press event for The Avengers: Infinity War, Kevin Feige was asked about the possibility of Nova in the MCU.

“Nova is… if we have a big board with a bunch of characters that have more immediate potential, Nova is on that board,” Feige said. “Because of the connection to the Guardians universe, because there are more than one examples to pull from in the comics that are interesting. And you’re absolutely right, he was in the earliest drafts of the [Guardians of the Galaxy].”

It’s known that the Marvel Studios Phase 4 plans are going cosmic, and with Disney buying Fox Studios, Marvel Studios will be getting a lot of cosmic characters, so Nova would seem to fit right in.

Marvel’s Phase 4 will see the studio have all the rights to characters such as the Guardians of the Galaxy, Adam Warlock, Richard Rider Nova, Wendell Vaughn Quasar, Galactus, Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four, Annihilus, Super-Skrull, Kang the Conqueror, the Badoon and more.
