Updated: Michael Rosenbaum will be returning to Smallvlle.
EW.com reports that Michael Rosenbaum will not be returning to the final season of Smallville, as the actor has turned down the offer.
Reportedly, Rosenbaum has ârebuffed attemptsâ by the showâs producers to get him back on.
âHe has put the show behind him and moved on,â says a knowledgeable source. âHeâs pursuing his other creative outlet [writing]. By all indications, he is not going to be involved.â
Noted, is the fact that the invitation is still open â but time is short as Smallville is wrapping up production with only three episodes left. One includes the two hour season finale.
Rosenbaum played Clark Kentâs arch-nemesis â and best friend â Lex Luthor.
The final episode to Smallville will be May 13th. Will Lex show?
