This weekend Disney is holding their Star Wars Celebration, and they released Star Wars: Rogue One footage in the form of a behind-the-scenes celebration reel; a new poster, concept art and a first look at Mads Mikkelsen’s character has also been released.
Mikkelsen is confirmed to be playing Galen Erso, the father of Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso.
“Star Wars: Rogue One” has a December 16, 2016 release directed by Gareth Edwards starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Forest Whitaker, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, who plays a performance-capture character in Rogue One, and Riz Ahmed.
