Fox Studios has released the first look at Michael Fassbender in Assassin’s Creed image now in a high-res non-watermarked format, which can be viewed below.

Gunn answered a fan’s question on Facebook about when filming starts, but stated he doesn’t known a specific date.
“In February. Not sure of the actual date,” Gunn offered.
James Gunn also recently confirmed Vin Diesel will be back as the voice of Groot.
No specific plot details are known about the sequel, but Gunn has hinted Star-Lord’s origins and father will be explored as well as the movie may take a slighly more serious approach.
Gunn also previously said there will be less characters in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 than the first “because everything is just getting too sprawling and too crazy for me in these superhero comic book movies.”
Gunn did confirm they will be introducing a new character.
“There’s just too many characters so you can’t concentrate on one and really get to know that character, and I really want to get to know the characters that we know better, and yeah, we will be introducing a new character,” Gunn said.
In addition to the five core members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Yondu, Nebula and Kraglin have been said to be returning as well.
Maybe Gunn can stick Richard Rider Nova, that he cut from the first movie, somewhere, too? (Help us, Obi Gunn. You’re our only hope).

Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen is said to be in early talks to play one of the villains in the upcoming Doctor Strange Movie.
Variety reports no offer has been as of yet delivered to Mikkelsen, but one is expected shortly, and that the villain role is presently unknown.
Chiwetel Ejiofor is already signed up to play one of the villains in Doctor Strange with Baron Mordo. Tilda Swinton is also on board as Doctor Strange’s mentor, The Ancient One.
This isn’t the first time Marvel has eyed Mikkelsen as the actor was said to be up for the role of Malekith for Thor: The Dark World.
We can speculate on possible Doctor Strange villains Mikkelsen may be up for including Dormammu, Xandu, Nightmare, Mephisto, Chthon, Kaluu, Zom and D’Spayre.
Doctor Strange has a November 4, 2016 release directed by Scott Derrickson starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange.

THR reports JJ Abrams’ Star Wars will have the large screen IMAX format all to itself in North America and foreign markets when it debuts December 18th.
It’s noted the move for IMAX isn’t unheard of, but is a bit unusual, as the last time something similar occurred was four years go when the three Hobbit movies took over IMAX and were the only IMAX movies shown.
It’s expected that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will break the IMAX opening-weekend record, which is currently held by Jurassic World with $44.2 million, having recently passed Disney’s Iron Man 3 ($28.8 million).
In total, it’s expected that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will open in 700-800 IMAX locations worldwide, with around half in the U.S.
“Star Wars: Episode VII is the ultimate crossover movie — it crosses over to everyone,” Imax Entertainment CEO Greg Foster said in a statement, with it noted Abrams shot scenes for Star Wars: The Force Awakens in IMAX.

It’s even suggested that Star Wars: The Force Awakens could dominate IMAX screenings past the initial four weeks.

September 4th marks “Force Friday,” the day Disney will make Star Wars: The Force Awakens merchandise available.
Various retailers are participating in midnight launches (you can check out Target details here), and now Disney has announced live unboxing events will be held across the globe and aired on YouTube.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens products are set to be unveiled in the world’s first ever global live toy unboxing event. Unfolding over 18 hours in 15 cities and 12 countries, the event will see highlights from the range of epic merchandise revealed in a rolling New Year’s Eve style celebration featuring top digital stars from the Maker Studios network.
“Star Wars toys have always played an important role in how our fans interact with the saga,” says Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy. “They’ve inspired multiple generations to relive the experience of the movies and to create new adventures all their own. These spectacular Star Wars: The Force Awakensproducts will continue that tradition.”
Kicking off in Sydney, Australia on the morning of September 3 and continuing through Asia, Europe, Canada, and North and South America, selections from the new toy line will debut to global fanfare leading up to retailers around the globe opening their doors at midnight.
Over the course of 18 hours, some of Maker Studios’ biggest stars will each be unboxing a new toy from the Star Wars: The Force Awakens product line in a different city around the world and sharing the experience live on YouTube,” said Leslie Ferraro, President, Disney Consumer Products. “We’ve seen tremendous excitement for these new products and can’t wait to see the global reaction from the Star Wars fan community.”
The Star Wars YouTube channel will host the live stream, which kicks off with the first unboxing in Sydney, Australia at 7:45 a.m. local time on Thursday, Sept. 3 (5:45 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Sept. 2), with the grand finale at Lucasfilm in San Francisco at 8 a.m. PDT (11 a.m. EDT) on Thursday, Sept. 3. Each of the 15 locations will reveal a new product inspired by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
These “unboxing” videos will feature online personalities sharing the excitement of opening the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys. Unboxing videos have captivated millions of Internet viewers and continue to grow in popularity — 18 of the top 100 most viewed YouTube Channels worldwide are dedicated to toys and toy unboxings. These 18 channels accounted for 8.1 billion views in Q1 2015.
“We’re excited to be part of this first-of-its-kind initiative,” said Chris M. Williams, Chief Audience Officer, Maker Studios. “The unboxing world continues to expand rapidly as audiences around the world connect with digital creators who share their passions. The global event will incorporate traditional toy unboxers such as the popularEvanTubeHD, channels featuring families such as Bratayley, lifehack specialists such as ExpCaseros, gamers such as AlexBy11, and Star Wars fans from around the world like Chris Pirillo who bring with them a broad audience and appeal. Several countries will join the live stream from YouTube Spaces (Berlin, Tokyo, London), with Star Wars commentators Anthony Carboni and Andi Gutierrez hosting the event from the YouTube Space, Los Angeles.
Fans can tune in to watch live unboxings at home or on mobile devices, and also enjoy the latest trailers on the upcoming movie, commentary from special guests, fun product videos and demos, and footage from recent Star Wars events.
The global celebration culminates at midnight local time, when many retailers around the world will open their doors to fans looking to purchase Star Wars: The Force Awakens toys, collectibles, books, apparel, and more. Margot Robbie lets it be known she has dodged the proverbial bullet as prior to Suicide Squad, she was up for the role of Invisible Woman Sue Storm in the Josh Trank Fantastic Four movie which went to Kate Mara.
Prior to Suicide Squad wrapping, Robbie spoke with the NY Daily News about FF.
“I didn’t really resonate with the script, and I haven’t seen the movie, so I don’t really know how it turned out different from the page,” Robbie said of Fantastic Four. “But I had a great meeting with the director [Josh Trank] and I really enjoyed that. I guess it’s part of the game: sometime you win some, sometimes you lose some.”
It ended up working out that David Ayer would cast Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, the side kick to Jared Leto’s Joker, a role, which by all accounts, looks to be a blockbuster for Robbie.
“What he’s doing with the character is so cool,” she said of Leto as the Joker. “At first it was kind of confronting (to be up close) but now I’m so used to it, I think if I ever saw him out of makeup now I would be really confused.”
Margot Robbie also offered her character is just as crazy as the Joker.
“I guess the one common denominator is we’re all bad guys, it just makes everything more fun that way,” Robbie offered. “The scenes are more interesting I feel, when you just don’t know how the characters are going to react, especially with Harley, who’s absolutely nuts… she’s either going to kill you or laugh and give you a hug.”
