Paramount+ announced that Mobland, the new crime series from Guy Ritchie, delivered 2.2 million global viewers on premiere day, making it the biggest series launch in the platform’s history. The show premiered Sunday, March 30, in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia, with additional markets set to debut May 30.

Cast and Story
The series stars Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren, following two mob families locked in a violent clash that threatens to topple empires. Supporting roles are played by Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.

Mobland marks Guy Ritchie’s first TV series for Paramount+. The show is created and written by Ronan Bennett, with Jez Butterworth also writing.
