With the fan response to the Ben Affleck as Batman news being so negative, supporters of the actor bring up the fact that there was a similar reaction to Michael Keaton being named the Caped Crusader for the 1989 film.
Whether that is a good argument we will leave up to you, but TMZ catches up with Michael Keaton to ask the actor his thoughts on Ben Affleck as Batman.
You can watch the following video where Keaton thinks Ben Affleck will be a great Batman, and when asked if he would consider a role in the new movie, he says “I can do anything,” not ruling out a return.
The sequel to “Man of Steel” goes into production next year for a July 17, 2015 release also starring Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
