Marvel's Blade Still Has Daughter Of Blade Plot

Even though Blade is getting a rewrite for the umpteenth time, according to the scoopers, the flick still has that daughter of Blade plot and storyline.

Kevin Feige’s approach to the MCU following Avengers: Endgame has been all about replacing characters for the sake of diversity. Recently, Echo star Alaqua Cox verified the M-She-U is real.

So with Blade, it’s thought that the daughter of Blade will be replacing the character in the MCU, which again wouldn’t be a surprise.

Lilith after Blade’s daughter’s blood

According to Daniel RPK, the Blade movie is still a period piece and will be R rated.

The scooper also says Lilith will be featured as the villain in the movie who is going after Blade’s daughter’s blood to create an army of Daywalkers.

It’s said Lilith’s weapon is the Ebony Blade.

Blade training a young girl

According to previous rumors, the flick will be set in the 1920s with Blade training a young child, a girl, who might either be his daughter, Dracula’s daughter, or another vampire child.

It’s also been said that two time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali wasn’t happy with the script, which is why a new writer has been brought on board, and it has been said Mahershala Ali is taking a more active role in the development of the movie to make things right.

“We’re working on it. That’s the best I could tell you,” the actor said in December. “I’m really encouraged with the direction of the project. I think we’ll be back at it relatively soon.”

Female Blade in present day MCU?

So with the Blade movie being set in the 1920s and the rumored plot involving Blade training a female protégé, it seems as if Feige and company were setting up the female character to be the Blade in the present day MCU.

It has been hoped much of that plot had been nixed, but according to Daniel RPK, it seems they are sticking with it. Question: Why doesn’t Lilith just go after Blade for his blood?!

Blade has a November 7, 2025 release date directed by Yann Demange. It’s thought Mia Goth is playing Lilith, though she currently has joined Jonathan Majors and is in the hot seat with legal troubles of her own as she is being sued by an extra that was on the set of MaXXXine who alleges Goth intentionally kicked him in the head during the filming of a scene.
