Ant-Man 2 kicks off filming this June!

Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige filled in Collider the news about Ant-Man and the Wasp.

“Assuming everything stays on schedule, we start filming Ant-Man and the Wasp in June.”

Not much else is known about Ant-Man and the Wasp, but the characters will be getting new costumes. In addition, while Evangeline Lilly will be skipping Avengers: Infinity War, Wasp will be featured in the untitled Avengers 4.

Regarding the new Ant-Man and Wasp suits, this past Monday saw concept art revealed to the LA press.

“This is a whole new suit,” director Peyton Reed told THR, calling it the “3.0” Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) suit. “It’s fun, because it’s very specific for the needs of the story.”

The concept art showed Ant-Man using various objects made giant (human-sized Ant-Man holding an over-sized plastic soda bottle to spray bad guys with) and a giant dog with a car full of people in its jaws (or people and the car made small with a normal-size dog), and it’s also said concept art featured different designs for the Ant-Man and Wasp suits.

A new Ant-Man and Wasp logo also debuted recently at Cinemacon. See below.

Ant-Man and The Wasp has a July 6, 2018 release directed Peyton Reed also starring Michael Douglas and Michael Pena.
