A new Marvel video game is in development from Skydance New Media where a trailer released at the D23 Expo on Friday teases Captain America and Black Panther.
“Four Heroes. Two Worlds. One War. In collaboration with Marvel Games, Skydance New Media is proud to share the first look at our new AAA game with an ensemble cast and original story set in our unique Marvel Universe,” states the video description.
The untitled game is confirmed to use Captain America, Azzuri the WWII-era Black Panther, Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali of the Wakandan Spy Network.
The official details include the game is from award-winning writer and director Amy Hennig, who is known for Uncharted, and writer Marc Bernardin, who fans of Kevin Smith will recognize from the Fatman Beyond podcast.
To create this all-new interactive experience, Skydance New Media has assembled an accomplished crew of developers with decades of AAA experience in action and adventure gaming, as well as a diverse team of creative consultants from the worlds of film, television, and comics. The Skydance New Media team is laser-focused on creating high-fidelity, richly interactive experiences crafted for traditional gaming platforms as well as emerging streaming services and designed to be appealing, inviting, and accessible to a global audience.
