Marvel has now released the full trailer for A Marvel Television Special Presentation: The Punisher: One Last Kill, giving fans a much better look at Jon Bernthal’s return as Frank Castle.
The video description keeps it simple: “Hey Frank.”

Frank Castle is back in action
Marvel.com officially announced the trailer release and confirmed Bernthal is back as the Punisher in the standalone special presentation.
According to Marvel, Frank Castle will be dealing with more than just revenge this time around. The official synopsis says Frank “searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force pulls him back into the fight.”
That suggests Marvel is trying to push the character into a different place while still keeping him in the middle of the violence and chaos fans expect.
Marvel also released new key art
Along with the trailer, Marvel also released the first key art for The Punisher: One Last Kill.
The poster shows Frank Castle suited up and back in action, which matches the tone of the trailer and continues the hard-edged setup teased in the Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 footage.
Who is behind the special
The Punisher: One Last Kill is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green.
The script was co-written by Jon Bernthal and Green, which is notable since Bernthal isn’t just starring in the special but also helped shape the story.
Jon Bernthal also returns as The Punisher in July’s release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
