Marvel Animation has unveiled its next big project, Eyes of Wakanda, an action-packed animated series set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ on August 6, 2025.
The four-episode series explores the history of Wakanda and its fearless warriors, the Hatut Zeraze, as they protect the nation’s secrets and retrieve stolen Vibranium artifacts.
What Is Eyes of Wakanda About?
The official synopsis teases an exciting, globe-trotting adventure following Wakanda’s elite warriors across various eras. Known as the Hatut Zeraze, these heroes face formidable enemies determined to exploit Wakanda’s prized Vibranium.
This new Marvel animated series promises to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) by delving into Wakanda’s deep history and its legendary defenders.

Marvel Animation’s new action-adventure series “Eyes of Wakanda” follows the adventures of brave Wakandan warriors throughout history. In this globe-trotting adventure, the heroes must carry-out dangerous missions to retrieve Vibranium artifacts from the enemies of Wakanda. They are the Hatut Zaraze and this is their story. Featuring the voices of Winnie Harlow, Cress Williams, Patricia Belcher, Larry Herron, Adam Gold, Lynn Whitfield, Jacques Colimon, Jona Xiao, Isaac Robinson-Smith, Gary Anthony Williams, Zeke Alton, Steve Toussaint and Anika Noni Rose, “Eyes of Wakanda” is helmed by director/executive producer Todd Harris, with Ryan Coogler executive producing.
