Kick-Ass 2 Movie Not In The Works

At the 2011 Empire Awards held in the UK, Absolute Radio spoke with Jane Goldman, writer on the upcoming X-Men: First class – and writer on Kick-Ass.

Goldman was asked how Kick-Ass 2 was going to happen, as its been reported to be done by 2013. Goldman responded shaking her head, “I don’t think it is going to happen as far as I know.”

“Well, no. At the moment it’s not in the works, it might be, but we are all doing different things at the moment. We all loved working in it. We all would love to do it again, but we have all been pulled in different directions at the moment,” said Goldman.

Goldman also stated that they wanted to make sure the story for the sequel was just right and wouldn’t want to do it if it wasn’t as good as the first one.

“Maybe the moment will be right one day, hopefully,” she said.
