From Constantine to Neo to John Wick, so how about Keanu Reeves as Wolverine for the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Keanu Reeves previously let it be known he wouldnât mind playing Batman or Wolverine, and now says if he had his pick, he would go with the latter.
âOf the two, Iâd love to play Wolverine,â Reeves told Screen Geek.
Reeves also added that Wolverine is the only comic book role he would consider playing.
âI donât have one, to be candid,â Reeves responded when asked if there was another comic book role he would like to tackle.
Hugh Jackman recently retired from the role with the release of Logan, as Disney is set to purchase Fox Studios, which includes Wolverine, Deadpool, and the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters.
The Disney-Fox deal is set to go through early next year, and according to reports, Marvel is excited to recast Wolverine, as it has been noted Disney and Marvel executives are excited about the possibility to recast the character and bring him into the MCU fold.
