And that’s a wrap for Justice League, which has finished filming in London.
Aquaman Jason Momoa posted on Instagram they are having the Justice League wrap party.
“There’s [too] many people to thank for all their hard work JL. Tonight is our wrap party. I am so thankful for my cast and crew. I love you. I have never in my life missed a wrap party But as you all know I’m a huge fan of the food and merriment!!!!” Momoa said, while including an image of his Aquaman-jacked body.
It has been said that Justice League is going to film in Iceland, and there has also been movement out by the Kent Farm in Illinois signifying Superman’s involvement, so Justice League may be filming at least some additional scenes outside of London.
A majority of the information regarding the Justice League UK shoot came out of a London set visit with reporters as well as social media postings from director Zack Snyder and the cast. Here’s what we can say about Justice League to date:
• Justice League is set to star: Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Willem Dafoe as the Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
• Justice League release date: November 17, 2017
• Justice League plot synopsis: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
• Jesse Eisenberg will be back as Lex Luthor for Justice League.
• Joe Manganiello heavily speculated to debut as Deathstroke.
• Steppenwolf will be the main villain, with other villains in the movie. Darkseid will have some sort of influence, and the Parademons will be returning.
• Justice League will be lighter in tone than Batman Vs. Superman and takes place months after Dawn of Justice.
• The Justice League story to revolve around the Justice League forming to fight against a common foe and center around the pursuit of three Mother Boxes: one from Earth, one from Atlantis, and the third from The Amazons.
• Superman said to be returning later in the movie.
• Bruce Wayne builds the Flying Fox, a hellicarrier-type vehicle for the Justice League.
• Bruce Wayne also builds The Nightcrawler, a vehicle involved in a tunnel scene.
• Batman’s Dawn of Justice Armored suit gets an upgrade to the Batman Tactical suit.
• Ezra Miller’s The Flash to provide a bit of comic relief (as seen in the Justice League Comic-Con trailer,; watch below).
• Junkie XL is scoring Justice League, with some of Hans Zimmer’s Batman Vs. Superman score being used.
• Zack Snyder also previously teased Henry Cavill’s Superman having longer hair when he returns.
