The day has finally arrived and the Justice League movie is now in theaters!
Justice League opened tonight with advanced screenings, and I caught one earlier tonight and loved the movie!
It’s a lot of fun and lots of action! The audience I was with loved it as well as there were lots of laughs and everyone clapped at the end.
Per the norm with the DCEU (sans Wonder Woman) reviewers didn’t take too kindly to Justice League as the Rotten Tomatoes score is in and currently sits at 36%.
182 Justice League reviews are accounted for on Rotten Tomatoes with 65 Fresh to 117 Rotten.
I haven’t read any of the reviews as of yet, but when these reviewers are giving the Ghostbusters reboot a better review than Justice League, something isn’t adding up.
Justice League looks to opening tonight with around $11 million, and the opening weekend numbers look to be around $110-115 million.
Justice League has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder, with the story by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder, the screenplay by Chris Terrio and Joss Whedon, and stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe an Atlantean, Nuidis Vulko.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
