Jonah Hex Coming To DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

It’s learned Jonah Hex will appear in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow as executive producer Marc Guggenheim announced the news.

“Ever since we decided that Legends would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply MUST include Jonah Hex in it,” Guggenheim said in a statement. “We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”

Jonah Hex will first appear in episode 11; the role hasn’t been cast just yet.

In the comics, Jonah Hex is a western anti-hero, a bounty hunter, and has even beat Batman on more than one occasion.

“DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow” premieres Thursday, January 21st featuring the Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Firestorm (Franz Drameh and Victor Garber), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renée), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill).

Synopsis:

In DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW, when heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?
