Is the 1966 Batmobile a part of the upcoming Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie?
A YouTuber posted the following video claiming the ’66 Batmobile is being used for the Todd Phillips Joker movie as it was spotted being delivered in Newark, New Jersey, where filming is currently taking place.
However, another YouTuber in the comments claims to have spoken to a security guard who says it is not for the Joker movie, but that some fan had it delivered near the set.
So perhaps some fan wants to get in on the Joker hype and promote his replica of the ’66 Batmobile with pics with other fans and such.
I know at a local convention in my area, a replica of the ’66’ Batmobile was being used, which actually broke down on its way to the con.
Take a look:
Joaquin Phoenix Joker
The Joker origin movie centers around the iconic arch nemesis of Batman and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of a man disregarded by society is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale. The film follows the transformation of a struggling stand-up comedian to a full-blown criminal force of nature.
The movie also stars Robert DeNiro as a talk show host, Deadpool 2’s Zazie Beetz playing a single mom who catches the interest of the man who will become the clown prince of crime; Marc Maron is the agent responsible for getting the Joker on DeNiro’s talk show, with the film also starring Frances Conroy and Josh Pais, and Brett Cullen is playing Thomas Wayne.
Joker has an October 4, 2019 release date.
