More good news about Captain America: Civil War comes from the fact that the directors of John Wick helped out on action sequences in the movie.
Joe Russo: They did us a huge favor. They’re friends of ours. Obviously they are off now enjoying very successful directing careers. Just as friends, we called them and asked them if they would help us execute some of the action sequences, along with Spiro Razatos, who is generally regarded as the top guy along with Chad and Dave, so we literally had an all-star team of second unit directors working on this movie with us because we care so much about the action, and the quality of action, and we knew we had to work really hard to up our game from Winter Soldier. So we wanted to bring in the best people in the business to help us to that.
Chad Stahelski is returning for John Wick 2 as well.
