Joaquin Phoenix In Goofy Joker Suit Reveals Job

More set images from the Todd Phillips Joker movie have hit the net featuring Joaquin Phoenix in a goofy clown suit, which also looks to reveal his job.

Joaquin Phoenix was spotted on the streets of NYC wearing a clown suit holding a sign that reads, “Everything must go!!”

More than likely Arthur Fleck’s job is to walk the streets of Gotham City bringing attention to whatever store appears to be closing.

The closing of the store actually fits in with earlier set images and video where people were rioting against capitalism and blaming the Wayne family for their economic problems.

The suit Joaquin Phoenix is wearing in this particular scene is also the same clown suit and mask that was used in the phone booth scene where Arthur Fleck gets some sort of bad news that makes him breakdown and cry (possible news of a death in the family).

It will be interesting to see how much of the “leaked” footage makes its way into the final version of the movie as a lot seems to be hitting the net and is in plain view.

Joaquin Phoenix Joker

The Joker origin movie centers around the iconic arch nemesis of Batman and is an original, standalone story not seen before on the big screen. Phillips’ exploration of a man disregarded by society is not only a gritty character study, but also a broader cautionary tale. The film follows the transformation of a struggling stand-up comedian to a full-blown criminal force of nature.

The movie also stars Robert DeNiro as a talk show host; with Deadpool 2’s Zazie Beetz playing a single mom who catches the interest of the man who will become the clown prince of crime; Marc Maron is the agent responsible for getting the Joker on DeNiro’s talk show, with the film also starring Frances Conroy and Josh Pais.

Joker has an October 4, 2019 release date.
