James Gunn is now filming his Superman movie in Cleveland, Ohio where set images and video show off David Corenswet as the Man of Steel side by side Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific.

Nicholas Hoult has also been spotted on set who is playing Lex Luthor in the film.

The military are also on set, which follows those previous military base and vehicles images.

We also previously saw damage and rubble which looks to be a result of some sort of alien attack on Metropolis, possibly per the first official image released.

Well, the Man of Steel happens to answer the call with the third-smartest person in the world.

The images and video come via Cleveland.com and Just Jared.

This is our first look at David Corenswet in the full costume? What do we think? My first impression is that it seems as if the suit doesn’t fit Corenswet particularly well. It could be possible they’ll fix things in post with CGI or possibly only the good angles will make it on screen. I think I’ve seen a fan or two mention there could be a second suit.

I suppose it’s still early, so hopefully they can get things right. The Guardians of the Galaxy costumes looked pretty decent for the most part.

James Gunn’s Superman flies into theaters on July 11, 2025 also starring Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

The film also features Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, María Gabriela De Faría as the Engineer, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, with Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, and Christopher MacDonald as Ron Troupe. Milly Alcock is also thought to be debuting as Supergirl prior to her own movie which gets released in 2026.
