James Gunn Calls Recent Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Rumors Nonsense

A recent batch of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 rumors that hit the net have been shot down by director James Gunn.

Gunn took to Twitter to offer the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 rumors are “nonsense.”

Where do you guys get this nonsense? Who are all the people running around giving fake inside scoops to journalists?

I didn’t bother reporting on the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 rumors because I thought they were pretty much BS as well.

The rumors centered around there being more Elders of the Universe in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (than already known), and that Elizabeth Debicki’s Ayesha was also an Elder.

In the comics, Ayesha is also known as Kismet, aka Her, aka the female equivalent to Adam Warlock.

Benicio Del Toro is playing the Elder known as The Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, with Jeff Goldblum playing the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has a May 5, 2017 release starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn. New cast members include Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan and Kurt Russell.
