There has been a lot of speculation as of late that various actors and actresses have been cast in the DCEU which includes Armie Hammer, John Cleese, Shad Gaspard, Eiza Gonzalez and Watchmen‘s Jackie Earle Haley.
The speculation is based on Twitter as fans have noticed the DC president and co-runner of the DCEU films, Geoff Johns, has been following actors cast in roles such as Joe Manganiello and Patrick Wilson.
The latest clue the Twitter detectives have tracked down is in regards to Jackie Earle Haley from a couple of days ago, and now more clues have become known.
Of course this could all be meaningless and they could simply be following each other because they are in the entertainment business and friends, but a lot of the follows on Twitter are recent, and as we see with Joe Manganiello and Patrick Wilson, it’s possible there is something more going on.
WB has the Justice League movies, Aquaman, Flash, Man of Steel 2, Ben Affleck’s Batman, Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens and Deadshot in the works, so obviously they are going to need actors to fill the roles. As we’ve seen with the previous movies, WB likes to keep things in-house and often uses the same actors in their movies (as a lot of studios and directors do).
