Jack Huston has been cast as in the new Crow movie as the titular character.
The creator of The Crow, James O’Barr, confirmed the news to Dread Central.
“Jack Huston has definitely been cast,” O’Barr stated in addition to adding he is “really happy with that choice,” and filming will begin in a “couple months.”
O’Barr also said the new Crow film will be a straight adaptation of his original graphic novel, with it noted it’s a different take than the 1996 Brandon Lee film.
Huston has been circling The Crow since January when Luke Evans exited the role.
Huston is known for Boardwalk Empire and was recently cast in Timur Bekmambetov’s Ben-Hur remake.
